question:

Answered by Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Jack Schwartz, MHA, RDN, LMNT, LD:
The best weight loss plan for anyone is a balanced diet that focuses on lean protein, non-starchy vegetables, fruits and whole grains while limiting saturated fat and sugar intake. Exercise should also be part of your regimen. In general, you should aim to get about 150 minutes of physical activity per week, or at least 30 minutes of physical activity five times a week. Additionally, studies show that the weight he loses more than 10%, and anyone trying to maintain that weight loss should strive to get her 300 minutes of exercise a week.
Consider these tricks for losing weight.
