Utah’s Community Health Center can help you every step of the way as you consider your insurance market options for the coming year. Their assistance in registering and applying for additional financial assistance is free.
A community health center enrollment specialist can guide you through all the health insurance options available to you and your family, ensuring that you get the best coverage at the lowest cost possible for your situation. Enrollment Specialists can also help you complete the application for the Health Insurance Premium Assistance (HIPS) Program. This can further reduce costs.
Usage
The Health Insurance Premium Assistance Program provides eligible individuals with low-to-free health insurance. HIPS pays all or part of your monthly health insurance premium if you meet the eligibility requirements that many Utahans do.
HIPS also helps pay for unexpected long-term costs. Some of these include emergency care, preventive care, physical therapy, and medication coverage.
