The woman revealed how she bounced back slim after seeing an incredible 12th (76 kg) weight loss after starting the trampoline.
At 48, Cirencester’s heaviest Amanda Murray weighs 22 pounds (142 kg) and struggled to fit into a size 26, but after vowing to overhaul her diet and fitness regime, she’s now . A healthier 10 lbs (64 kg) in trim size 12.
It was her desire to be an active mother that inspired Murray to adopt a new healthy lifestyle. She replaced crisps, chocolate and cooked meals with fresh fruits and vegetables and enrolled in a trampoline class.
“I’ve been an adult all my life. After having kids, I realized I needed to do something about it,” explains Murray, a full-time caregiver for 25-year-old son Andrew.
“It was difficult, but I have no choice but to persevere.”

Murray initially began her weight loss regime by taking diet pills prescribed by her doctor for two years, but thought it would “take too long” to change her weight.
Although she lost a few stones, she was able to maintain her weight of 18 stones (114 kg) for 7 years before joining Slimming World in 2016 and lost another 9 stones (57 kg). rice field.

However, she believes getting started on the trampoline helped boost and maintain her weight loss.
The mother of two said she was initially apprehensive about going to a trampoline class, fearing she would be “the only big one there,” but now made the decision to attend. I believe it changed my life.
“It was a great activity,” she says. “I was just bouncing around to the music.”

When the first class she attended eventually stopped, Murray bought a folding trampoline and two workout DVDs to continue her fitness regime at home.
She now does personal training twice a week and also participates in TRX, exercises that work the upper, lower and core muscles.
In addition to increasing his exercise level, Murray completely overhauled his diet.
Before I lost weight, I used to eat takeout, cooked meals, and sweet treats, but now I fill my fridge with fruits, vegetables, and lean meats.

Her weight loss not only boosted her self-esteem, but she was also able to reverse the diabetes she had previously lived with.
“My life has completely changed,” she says. “I feel so much better because I no longer have to look for clothes that are her size 24-26.”
She describes her journey as “challenging,” but also “challenging.”
“It’s had its ups and downs,” she explains. “You can gain weight one week and lose weight the next.”
She’s thrilled to be able to wear a size 12 now, but admits she still wants to lose a little more weight.
“Sometimes I still look in the mirror and think I’m not thin enough, but sometimes I am,” she explains.
“But I know I’ve done a great job, and I’ve endured even the toughest moments without giving up.
