We all prepare to welcome the cold with room heaters and woolen clothes. A steaming mug of coffee or tea, hot chocolate, or a bowl of creamy, warm soup might be perfect, Nothing beats enjoying a warm winter dessert. The warmth and sweetness of these dishes have a different taste during the winter season and are highly nutritious, so they can satisfy your appetite.
Panjiri: This famous Punjabi recipe will make you want to eat more of this dessert.
recipe- Add 1 cup of flour and roast in kadai. Then add 4-5 tablespoons of ghee and mix well. Add cashews and roasted almonds. When the flour is cooked, remove it from the heat. Gradually add the sugar, mix until everything is properly blended, and add the raisins. Let cool for a while. You can enjoy it as is or with warm milk.

Patty Shapta: A popular Bengali dish that is perfect for winter is Pashapta. It resembles a pancake stuffed with finely chopped coconut and jaggery.
recipe- Add chopped coconut, sea squirt, sugar or jaggery to the kadai. If you choose sea squirt filling and add milk, you can add cardamom. Remove from heat and let cool for a while. Add milk to a large bowl, add maida, semolina and rice flour. Mix well so that there are no lumps. Let it sit for 30 minutes. Drizzle a little oil on a nonstick skillet. Take the maida mixture and pour the layers into the pan like pancakes.Then add the filling in the center and roll. When it is browned, remove it from the frying pan. It can be served hot or cold.

Gajar Ka Halwa: A staple dessert in Indian homes in winter is the famous gajal kha halwa. It is delicious and nutritious, and is usually served hot with dried fruit as a garnish.
recipe- The first and most important step is to grate the carrots. Prepare kadai, pour about 500ml of milk and mix grated carrots. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until 70% of the milk has thickened. Add Elaichi powder, ghee and sugar to the mixture. Continue to simmer over low heat while stirring. When the milk is completely dry, add saffron, chopped nuts and raisins.
Gajak: This is the final dessert on our list, again the winter special Kajaku.
recipe – Add ghee and sugar to kadai with a few drops of water and boil until syrupy. Remove mixture from heat and add roasted peanuts. Then transfer it to a greased plate and evenly spread it on the plan. Cut when hot. Once cooled, it can be served or stored in an airtight container.

Adadhya Park: Adadhya pak is a popular dessert in Gujarati cuisine made with urad dal.
recipe- Soak and grind uradodal into a powder, or use store-bought uradodal powder. Add ghee and roast gond in a pan. When cool, mash and place in the same pan to roast the pistachios, almonds and raisins. Add ghee and urad dal powder along with the milk. Roast until milk is absorbed, add coconut powder and simmer for a while.Add crushed gond, ghoul, ginger powder and cardamom and mix well. Remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool for a while. Cut into barfi shapes and enjoy.
