If you do what you need to get there, you can build a happy heart, a happy body, and a happy relationship.
These are some basics that may seem obvious, but it’s worth noting if they’re missing in these areas. If you have a health habit you would like to share in my # 2 article, please email me.
- “Slow down and breathe.” The pace of life is fast and we are often involved and often succumb to stress just by trying to catch up. However, stress has some terrible health effects, affecting all areas of our lives (weight gain, sleep, heart, immunity, relationships, etc.). The mental, physical, emotional and mental health benefits are amazing. There is nothing but the breath we are taking now. Focusing on gratitude when doing this combines the effects and provides a sense of peace and balance. This is a convention, so repetition is where you find rewards.
- Daily yoga and other stretching exercises. Most of the people I know who practice this ancient art of movement, stretching, and mindness do it in prayer and make it part of their worship of God. Our body is our temple and yoga is a beautiful way to connect to our body quietly and introspectively. Most people who practice meditative states when doing yoga find peace and deep connections through surrender to love.
- Morning smoothies are the best way to fast after a few hours of sleep. The blend is already a mechanical part of the digestion process, making it easier to digest. You can hide all kinds of health foods there. Foods such as hemp hearts and chia seeds that you usually don’t know how to take. I make kefir (fermented beverage) myself and add it to smoothies. Also add cherry or blueberry turmeric ginger elixir. It is not possible to fully express how delicious and nutritious these smoothies are. Share my recipe with the person who emails me.
- Incorporating raw vegetables and certain fruits into your diet contains vitamins, nutrients, fiber, roughage, and antioxidants to build your immune system and help your digestive system.
- Fermented foods are great and intestinal friendly. If you have taken antibiotics, drank soft drinks, and are dependent on sugar, you may have digestive problems somewhere in your life. Fermented foods include kefir, kombucha, sauerkraut, and kimchi, but there are others.
- Good multivitamins, including minerals, can be very helpful if you can’t get all the nutrients you need from your diet. Unfortunately, the minerals in the soil are depleted and need to be replenished. Seek advice from your local health food store.
Our bodies move with “good” fuel (appropriate nutrition) (exercise and stretching), rest and regenerate (sleep), and control stress levels (driving our own trains). When you think about being optimally healthy), and choose a positive outlook for life. If you do what you need to get there, you can build a happy heart, a happy body, and a happy relationship.
For well-balanced health of body, mind and spirit.
