Dr. Michael Mosley often shares weight loss tips with slim people, not only on TV but also online. He is the creator of The Fast 800, a diet plan that helps people lose weight quickly.
Dr. Mosley previously explained that by following the Fast 800 diet, “some people were able to drop two stones in just 10 weeks.”
Everyone loses weight in different ways and at different speeds, but some dieters achieve “rapid weight loss” after making simple changes to their diet and lifestyle.
So what is the Fast 800 diet?
According to Dr. Mosley, slimming is the “most effective” way, and there are three important steps.

Nutrition experts say: “According to science, the most effective way to lose weight is to follow an intermittent fast, a time-limited diet, and a diet that incorporates a Mediterranean diet.
“That’s why I came up with The Fast 800.”
Dr. Mosley goes on to say: “In the past, when intermittent fasting was a radical idea, I was developing a 5: 2 diet many years ago, which really resonated.
“One of the things that has been clear since then is that 800 calories look like a magical figure when it comes to weight loss, which is based on studies showing that people are easy to follow. But it still has the same weight loss benefits.

“Research shows that it is the amount of weight you lose in the first month that predicts the long-term success of losing weight.
“For this reason, the Fast 800 diet recommends maintaining 800 calories daily for two weeks to begin weight loss.”
In addition to eating 800-1,000 calories a day, Dr. Mosley advised slimmers to “divide a low-carb diet into two or three doses and try to avoid snacks.”
When dieters treat themselves, doctors recommend healthy, high-protein foods, such as “a handful of nuts.”
Some Mediterranean ingredients that slimmers should start incorporating into their diet include many vegetables, fruits, legumes, seeds, nuts, potatoes, whole grains, herbs, spices, fish, seafood, and extra virgin olive oil.
According to Healthline, moderately eaten foods include poultry, eggs, cheese and yogurt.
We rarely eat lean meats, sugared beverages, sugar additives, processed meats, refined grains, refined oils, and other highly processed foods.
Dr. Mosley added that the Fast 800 is flexible and can be modified by slim people to suit their “needs, goals and motivations.”
“One of the great things about the Fast 800 is its flexibility,” he said.
