When it comes to weight loss, it is both a lonely journey and a challenging one. It can cause anxiety, stress, and lack of motivation for people in departments.
This is due to many issues such as working out alone and shyness, all of which can negatively affect a person’s progress.
So Dean Zweck, Product Development Manager at Total Fitness, shared some insights that can help people bring the fun they need into their next routine and keep them moving toward their goals.

switch up
People need to change their workouts for two basic reasons:
to prevent boredom
Keep performance, training and weight loss from stagnation
Dean added: “Repetition can be a plus when you’re working out, but doing the same exercise over and over can be exhausting.
“After a while, if you feel bored with your workout, don’t be afraid to change things up.”
He revealed that while it might be scary for people to do this, it is far more beneficial in the long run.
‘If you find exercise boring, it may be a sign that it’s too easy for you, which in itself is a sign that your fitness level is improving.’
buddy up
If you’re not comfortable doing it alone, Dean suggested bringing a friend along to make the workout more enjoyable.
“Whether you’re looking to gossip on the treadmill or find each other at the barbell, bringing a friend to work out can add more fun to your routine,” he said.
“Friends not only bring us fun, but they also provide support and accountability.
“On those days when you’re having a hard time motivating yourself or struggling to get things done, your friends can help you keep moving toward your weight loss goals.”
join class

It can give people the chance to spend time with like-minded people while losing weight.
