PMac Fitness, real name Peter Maciver, is a celebrity personal trainer and is revered as an influential figure in fitness. He encouraged people to lead an active lifestyle and helped men and women of all ages and sizes reach their fitness goals. He details his five weight loss rules in his column.
1) There is no big secret of weight loss
People often ask, “What is your secret?”
Well, that’s easy: you need to burn more energy than you consume.
Whatever you eat, you need to give more energy.
It can be done through exercise, walking and going to the bathroom.
2) One of the most important tips for successful weight loss (people often ignore it) is to rest and recover.
Trying to solve it with a dead battery will not help you lose weight.
There are countless studies demonstrating who can actually maintain weight without getting enough sleep and losing weight.
Personally, you can use the sleep tracker and app. I’m a big fan of Sleep Hub because of the various sound settings that help me sleep.
I’ve been using it for about 6 months and it definitely improved my sleep quality. You can choose the best sleep for 8 hours and wake up from the moment you press the button at bedtime.
The alarm wakes up gradually, so you feel that you are awakening properly, rather than being crazy by the time you wake up.
3) I don’t believe in diet and restricted diet
Your food intake needs to be your way of life, not your “diet.” Diets are often extreme and unsustainable.
It is recommended to eat a low to medium GI diet.
Foods with a low glycemic index stabilize blood sugar levels and slowly release energy from carbohydrates throughout the day, so the body can use it as fuel.
4) Aim for 10,000 steps or more per day (especially if there is no active work)
The best way to do this is to get a sports watch, monitor it accurately and see how many steps you have taken via the mobile phone app.
More active people will always lose weight faster than inactive people. 10,000 steps should take about 1 hour and 30 minutes. That way, you can break it 30 minutes in the morning before work, 30 minutes at lunch, and 30 minutes later. jobs.
Get off the bus early and leave your car at home! Get off the tube a few stations early and walk.
When you reach your goals every day, it’s very motivating and satisfying.
5) Pay for training
Get physical membership as getting a gym membership, hiring a personal trainer, attending a yoga class, or paying for these services will help you stay accountable.
It would be even better if we could get motivated by joining with friends and partners.
Book last week’s class and stick to it instead of booking every day.
