Engaged Long Island natives Kenny Turner and Lauren Harvey lost a whopping 330 pounds together after falling in love in 2018.

Turner knew he needed to get healthy for himself and his relationship with Harvey. But he had previously scoffed at the idea of weight-loss surgery — until Harvey informed him that he was thinking of going under the knife himself.
The dedicated “Reverse Enabler” duo decided to undergo Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy (VSG) surgery in the fall of 2019.
Turner streamlined to fit 211 pounds, while Harvey dropped to 163 pounds.
“The idea that you can have someone go through this process is [with] I finally decided to go ahead with the surgery as my anxiety was greatly reduced,” he added.

Turner has a protein shake and a banana for breakfast. For lunch and dinner, eat 3 to 5 ounces of lean protein, 2 ounces of vegetables, and 2 ounces of complex carbohydrates.
He also does strength, cardio, and strength training at least four times a week.
Harvey’s workouts consist of cardio and strength training, daily walks, and weekend hikes.
“When I grew up, I never really knew how much I was missing in life,” Turner said. We are working more proactively.”
