New virtual reality software to enhance medical training for Australian medics has been launched with support from the Department of Defense.

Developed by first responder training company Real Response, the Virtual Tactical Combat Care (VTC3) program offers immersive and personalized training experiences to practice medical skills in a variety of scenarios, including combat, humanitarian assistance, and routine medical care. provide to the user.
Pair with Garmin smartwatches to dynamically change virtual scenarios using live biometric data. The data, along with the VR training results, serve as a guide for debriefings.
The VR program is supported by the Defense Innovation Hub, which invests in new technologies that help grow Australia’s defense industry.
Additionally, this module will be added to the list of VR projects offered by Real Response. This includes the MedEvac VR simulator that trains military and civilian aeromedical recovery professionals in critical medical and trauma scenarios.
