A personal trainer has revealed how he was drafted to help Liz Truss cope with the stress of a turbulent 44 days at the office.
According to The Sunday Times, the former Prime Minister hired PT Elliot Espinoza to help her stay physically and mentally strong as she dealt with the much-mocked small-budget fallout.
The perplexed former prime minister reportedly asked one of her special advisors, Jason Stein, if he knew of a trainer who could help her.
Stein then allegedly put Truss in contact with Espinoza, 35, towards the end of September.
Conscripted into Downing Street: Fitness instructor Elliott Espinoza posted a photo on Instagram of himself in gym gear outside No. 10.
Due to the short tenure of the former prime minister, she was often seen jogging early in the morning. increase

Speaking to The Sunday Times about the initial inquiry about his fitness services, Espinoza said:
He then added: “She wanted the chance to switch off from the rest of the day.”
After the initial call, Espinoza was reportedly summoned to meet Truss at the Downing Street apartment gym, which reportedly has a rowing machine and a treadmill.
Then I worked out, usually early in the morning, around 7:15am, to 80s music and Taylor Swift tracks.
Espinoza reportedly set an alarm for 5:30 a.m. to get to work on time.
Elliot Espinoza told The Sunday Times that he thought it was a “prank” when asked if he would train Liz Truss during her 44-day tenure.
Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson is still seen regularly, running in London with his dog Dylan.
The Prime Minister wore a fluorescent gym top and black leggings, while her husband, Hugh O’Leary, 48, wore navy shorts.
Truss reportedly booked two 40-minute ‘Tabata Method’ sessions each week, each costing ยฃ60.
Tabata training is a high-intensity workout that aims to “get the most out of you in the shortest amount of time.”
Each exercise, such as a squat, consists of 20 seconds of vigorous effort followed by 10 seconds of rest eight times.
Truss apparently canceled a session with Espinoza via WhatsApp after stepping down from the post.
When not in session, Truss was also known to go for an early morning jog. She was frequently seen leaving Downing Street in her exercise equipment.
She was known to visit the Archbishop of Canterbury’s 12th-century Thames Gardens at Lambeth Palace with select advisors.
The aim was clearly to come up with a solution to the dreaded array of problems that filled her tray.
She then returned to Number 10 to take a shower and prepare to hold her first meeting at her desk in the Cabinet Office at 8:30 am.
Her predecessor Boris Johnson is also known as a big jogger.
She can often be seen walking through St James’ Park and central London with her dog, Dillin.
