Matt wrote a new children’s novella to commemorate the 25th anniversary of World Book Day.

There, in a short film shown at the show, Matt visited a school in West London to see a new initiative that would encourage children to read books again.
Regarding what reading gives children, Matt says: Reading a book, you have a relationship between the book and the writer.
“Reading a book makes me feel very personal.”

Matt went on to say that reading also helps children’s creativity.
When asked if reading helped his own creativity, Matt said, “Yes.” He went on to talk about the new World Book Day books that kids can buy with a £ 1 book voucher.
The new book consists of the facts that children have to guess whether they are right or wrong.
Matt’s deep digging into how the pandemic affected children’s reading abilities would have been of interest to many, but it wasn’t the only thing that made viewers talk.
