A big celebration is scheduled for this Saturday for the Grand Finale of the “Row the Finn” charity challenge at Ballybofey.
Throughout April, members of the Pro-Fitness Gym have measured kilometers in a tough 128km indoor rowing challenge in support of three 10K charities in the northwest of 2022.
And tomorrow, the fitness crew will celebrate the completion of a distance equivalent to the length of the River Finn and vice versa.
In all columns, they are raising funds for local charities: No Barriers Foundation, Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus Ireland Donegal Branch, Donegal Diabetes Parents Support Group. Donate here: https: //www.idonate.ie/fundraiser/11432838_row-the-river-finn.html
From 11:00 pm to 2:00 pm this Saturday, everyone can attend the professional fitness gym at Glenside Business Park and cheer on the rowers to the finish line. There are teas and coffees offered by Hatters, as well as bake sales.

All revenue from the event supports:
SBHI: The Donegal branch of spina bifida and hydrocephalus was founded in 2010 after a local family found a lack of support and information. The purpose of the National Association is to provide information, advice and support to parents and caregivers with spina bifida and hydrocephalus, and to promote social inclusion and equality of people in these conditions in our society. .. This group consists of families and caregivers who support each other throughout their life journey.
No Barrier Foundation: The No Barriers Foundation operates a comprehensive medical facility in Letterkenny to enable everyone with disabilities to exercise and improve their current physical and mental health levels, regardless of their current baseline. Equipped with specialized neurological equipment. Barriers are not a highly innovative social enterprise, thanks to the use of the EksoBionicsRobotic Exoskeleton, the only suit in the northwest for innovative rehabilitation.
Donegal Diabetes Parent Support Group: The Donegal Diabetes Parents Group is dedicated to helping families of diabetic children. They achieve this by providing support, education and motivation. They also raise public awareness of diabetes and its symptoms and challenges and fund research to find cures.
