Jay Cutler chest, biceps, calf training
Cutler’s video began with his usual comedy kit involving his partner Angie Feliciano.Following the opening laugh, Cutler met with a senior producer at Jay Cutler TV David Bourlet at Kilo Club in Tivoli Village, Las Vegas, Nevada for training sessions.
In addition to sharing workouts, Cutler intended a video to help followers find motivation in the middle of the week.
Everyone needs to be in a summer rotation of physique transformation.
Below is a breakdown of each exercise that Cutler has incorporated into his training to prepare for the summer.
Machine Standing Calf Raise
Bourlet said Cutler will start training from calves. Cutler’s rationale is clear:
Give priority to weak muscle groups.
Cutler states that most people have less energy to train their calves after full training, suggesting that it is better to train their calves first:
How much blood is left in the calf?
Elevation of the standing calf emphasizes the gastrocnemius muscle (the muscles of both heads under the knee behind the leg) that play a major role in the aesthetics of the lower leg. As shown in the video, Cutler explained that he would warm up and then run three sets. He chooses a double pump calf-raising movement to maximize contraction and lift heavier loads.
Machine seat Calf Raise
The raised calf that sits emphasizes the soleus muscles. The soleus muscle is the thicker muscle under the gastrocnemius that contributes to the aesthetics of the lower leg. The two sets were shown in the video, as Cutler described as “a little off the calf” as the target area.

Mechanical tilt hammer press
Cutler begins chest training with a tilted hammer machine. He adjusts the seat to a lower position, creating a space between his back and the machine and pushing in an arc to fully contract his pectoral muscles. He performed several warm-up sets that pyramid the weight of the three working sets. His goal is to keep chest tension constant..
Dumbbell Incline Press
Cutlers tend to do more tilting movements, so move to the dumbbell tilting press. His break between sets lasted 45-60 seconds, emphasizing that he was “squeezing” all personnel.
Smith machine press
The Smith Machine Press is a great option to mimic a traditional barbell flat bench press, but with less safety risk. Therefore, Cutler prefers it to free weight variations.
I’m totally against flat benching.
The ex-mass monster said at some point he would be so strong on the bench press that he would break through £ 405. But he turned back after straining Peck — the risk of further injury was not worth the big lift.
Machine seated cable fly
Cutler then did a chest exercise on the seated cable machine. It was a hybrid of press and fly. The fly is great for feeling the contraction of the pectoral muscles and increases the adduction of the arm. Cutler noticed that his back during the tilted hammer press was arched in the same way as his shape. He did two sets and failed the last one.
Biceps
Cutler ends the session with several biceps exercises, including standing alternating biceps curls, mechanical sitting curls, free weight barbell curls, mechanical preacher curls, and sitting cable biceps curls. Did.
After training the chest, biceps, and calves, Cutler talked about his upcoming show. The Jay Cutler Desert Classic in Las Vegas on April 9, 2022, and the Boston Jay Cutler Classic in Lin, Massachusetts on April 16, 2022.
