At the plane house, Iola Meadows looked back on her life. She ate countless meals, but she never got stuck. Among her full-time work as a safety inspector, her packed volunteer schedule, and her loved ones in need of her, she finds time to count calories and prepare meals. I couldn’t. But now she has diabetes, high blood pressure, and hypercholesterolemia. Her doctor was urging her to make her changes. And maybe God was urging her too. But where should she start? Lord, guide me to the help I need, Iora prayed.
A few days later, a Facebook post caught the eye of Iola. She thought it was an interesting name, and clicked on the “Eat like a bear” diet page. She was immediately drawn to hundreds of success stories. Most of them came from women of the same age, many of whom lost more than £ 100. And they did that by eating large meals only once a day and “hibernating” between meals, allowing the body to live on its own fat. The diet they ate was low-carb, but could be quickly made with regular food — and nothing to track or measure. is it true? Iola thought it sounded too easy. It’s also budget friendly! “I’ll do it for a week,” she told herself.
Simplicity of slimming
The next morning, Iola was a little nervous when she skipped her usual breakfast sandwich. However, it was not difficult to drink herbal tea until noon. Then she squeezed into the salad with chicken, cheese, bacon, and dressing. It was so big that she ate from the serving bowl. “Is that all day long?” Asked her husband, Stephen. “That’s the idea,” she replied. “I’m full of Thanksgiving, so it might work.” And it did! She smiled as Iola prepared her bed. “I’m less hungry now than after spending a snack night!”
As the days went by, Iola was a little tired — yet, to her surprise, she was almost hungry. And she suddenly had extra time to do what she liked, because her food wasn’t the focus of the day. Her pants were loose and she bought her scale. In less than a week she lost more than £ 10!
In the weeks that followed, Iola’s energy began to skyrocket. She read her post on the Eat Like a Bear diet site and learned about the changes that are happening within herself. When she had a small mini-fast between her meals, it gave her the opportunity to heal her body. Her skin, joints, and especially her metabolism were improving. Encouraged, Iola tried another “ridiculously big” meal. For example, the cauliflower beef frying pan was full of cheese and felt like a cheat. The pound continued to fall. “Eating a big meal once a day is magical. I’m before,” she shared with her friends.
“Eat like a bear” diet meal is generous and slim
To use Iola’s approach, set a time zone (1-4 hours) to eat all your daily meals. Unlimited vegetables, 8 ounces of protein, and a few servings of a natural low-carb diet (nuts, berries, oils, dressings, cheese). Drink natural zero-calorie beverages whenever you want. Iola didn’t count or track, but her “ridiculously large” diet contained 1,200-2,000 calories each. For more information, please visit EatLikeABear.com.
