But if your morning routine doesn’t irritate you or lacks energy, clinical nutritionist Sarah di Lorenzo makes some simple exchanges to mix things up.
Sarah’s Super Healthy Chocolate Granola
Serving size-1 / 2 cup
material:
- 4 cups of rolled oats
- 1 cup of chopped mixed nuts
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup of virgin coconut oil
- 2tsp vanilla essence
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup of finely chopped coconut
- 1/2 cup cocoa
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
- Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl. Mix the damp ingredients, then mix,
- Spread the mixture in a thin layer on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden.
Sarah’s homemade jam
material:
- 2 cups of chopped strawberries
- 2 tablespoons of chia seeds
- Squeezed lemon 1/2
- 2 tablespoons of honey
Method:
- Cook the strawberries on the stove for 5 minutes in a saucepan until the strawberries are clearly decomposed and the natural juice comes out.
- Squeeze 2 tablespoons of chia seeds, honey and 1/2 lemon and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Place in a jar and store in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours before serving. There is time for the chia seeds to swell and you can enjoy the jam with a delicious jam consistency.
Sarah Egg Breakfast Muffin
material:
- 1 cup of chopped spinach
- 1 cup of chopped red pepper
- 1 cup of chopped cherry tomatoes
- 12 eggs

- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.

- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons of pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Garnish
- Fresh berries
- Maple drizzle
- Fresh mint
Method
- Mix eggs, milk, maple cinnamon and vanilla.
- Soak the bread in the egg mix for 2 minutes and cook on both sides for a few minutes until golden.
- Serve with berries, a small drizzle of maple syrup and fresh mint.
