On Oct. 12, she shared a recipe for a restaurant-style lentil salad on Instagram. It’s one of the best things you can have for a healthy, filling meal.Lentils can help regulate cholesterol, according to WebMD. It also provides folic acid, iron and potassium benefits. Check out the recipe:
material
for salad
- 1 celery chopped
- 1 green apple
- 1/2 block feta cheese
- 1.5 cups brown lentils
- 2 handfuls of grilled (or raw) cherry tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons green onion
for dressing
- 1 tablespoon honey
- salt to taste
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 4 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/3 cup extra virgin oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Method
dressing
- Add minced garlic, oil, salt, pepper, lemon juice, vinegar and honey to a bowl.
- Mix everything well and set aside.

- Boil the soaked lentils and set aside to cool.
- Cut cherry tomatoes in half and grill. It’s ok to just put it raw in a salad bowl.
- Peel and dice green apples.
- Chop the green onions and celery. You can also use fresh parsley, coriander leaves, or mint leaves.
- With your hands, crumble half a block of feta cheese into a bowl.
- Once the lentils have cooled, add everything to a large bowl and mix.
- Pour the dressing over the top and bring it all together.
Your lentil salad is ready to eat!

- 2 tablespoons of chopped green onion.
- 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 3 peeled and steamed corn cobs
- salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
Method
- Peel and remove 3 corn. Steam or boil them and set aside to cool.
- When cool, cut off the kernels and put them in a bowl.
- Add pomegranate, vinegar, lemon juice, salt, pepper, green onion, and oil to bowl.
- You can also add chopped mint, basil, parsley, and coriander leaves for extra flavor.
Serve this easy salad to guests or make it to enjoy the weather on a rainy afternoon.
