Fans of the Peaky Blinders remained double-taken after discovering Curly’s dramatic weight loss changes.
BBC viewers were convinced that he had been replaced and asked, “Is this the same actor?”
In the Sunday episode, Curly (played by Ian Peck) joined Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) and his son Duke (Conrad Khan) in the scrapyard.
Tommy called Curly and asked him to prepare two horses and a cart for Duke.
However, while fans quickly pointed out that Curly looked very slim, some weren’t sure if the actor had changed.
One person wrote: “Bloody Hell Curly Weight Loss #Peaky Blinders”
“Sorry, did they change the actors who play curly hair? #PeakyBlinders”, second post.
Third agreement: “Wait a minute … Curly is a new actor. Looks completely different. #Peaky Blinders”
Fourth share: “Curly lost so much weight that he didn’t recognize him at first. #Peaky Blinders”
“No, they haven’t replaced him, but I think he just lost some of his weight idk,” another suggested.
But don’t be afraid. When the credit was rolled back, it was confirmed that Ian Peck was not replaced as Curly.
Curly is a stable boy and a ferryman who works hard in Charlie Strong’s garden.
In Season 2, Tommy announces that May Carlton (Charlotte Riley) Curly is the best jockey in the UK.
Curly is a friend of Thomas and a companion to the Peaky Blinders. The two trained and cared for the secrets of Thomas’ racehorse, Grace.
In the latest installation, Michael Gray (Finn Cole) vowed to kill Tommy. He was unaware that he was already dead from tuberculosis.
A man visited Michael in jail and told him: “I am here on behalf of your wives Gina and Jack Nelson.
“Mr. Nelson is ready to take you out of here, but first you need an answer to your question. If the answer is yes, you are released. If the answer is no, you will stay. “
Michael replied: “I consulted with my mother.”
The visitor was interrupted: “Your mom is dead.”
“Nevertheless, I consulted her,” Michael counterattacked. “Yes, my intention is to kill Tommy Shelby when I am released.”
Now that the final episode of the show is imminent, Anthony Burn has promised viewers a “magnificent and feature-length” finale.
In a recent interview, Burn confirmed that the last Peaky Blinders episode clocked in at an impressive 81-minute length-for which Ten O’Clock News was abandoned.
He told the Radio Times:
“It feels very different from the rest of the season. It feels very different from what I’ve done so far.
“It’s a very spectacular range. It feels like a movie-it’s a kind of dry run in a feature film.”
The show has already set the scene for the next Peaky Blinders movie.
Byrne also revealed that many of the new characters viewers will meet in this final season will be “part of what happens in the movie.”
The Peaky Blinders will return to BBC One on Sunday at 9pm.
