Mary Curtin Creser of Montclair, who had a long and prominent career in health care and was an active volunteer in the town, died of colon cancer at home on Friday, May 20, 2022. She was 55 years old.
Mrs. Creather, daughter of Janice (Fox) and Patrick Curtin, was born in Dover, grew up in Hackettstown, and later lived in Norwalk, Connecticut, Jersey City, Stanford, and Gramercy Park, Manhattan, and then settled in Montclair.
She attended Hacketstown High School, graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, has a bachelor’s degree in English and experience in Washington, DC, and is a council for women’s issues focused on women’s and children’s health policy. Served.
Her professional life threw her into Manhattan, where she soon settled in the global medical practice of the telecommunications company FleishmanHillard, where she worked for over 17 years and was promoted to Senior Vice President and Partner. She managed the engagement and award-winning teams across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
His interest in community medicine has led Mrs. Krieser to pursue graduate studies in health policy, nutrition, and nursing. She earned her Master of Health Administration degree from Seton Hall University and was awarded the University’s MHA Servant Leadership Award for her outstanding achievements in serving others.
She holds an advanced degree and attends the Clara Maass Medical Center at RWJ Barnabas Health in Belleville, where Medicare is targeted at senior citizens in the counties of Essex, Bergen and Hudson, an initiative recognized by the New Jersey Hospital Association. With Mrs. Krieser’s passion for health care and patient advocacy, she joined East Hanover’s Novartis Oncology as a global director of communications with scientists, patients, doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals around the world. We have worked together to make progress. She understands cancer and spotlights the needs of patients and their loved ones.
She took great care of others and wondered how she could play a role in improving the health of people around the world, especially those with cancer. On this occasion she introduced her myriad colleagues she cherished.
Mrs. Krieser’s service to others included volunteering at Montclair. She was the Merit Badge Coordinator and Financing Leader at Troop 12 of the Boy Scouts of America. She taught religious education at the Immaculate Conception. She is JAZZ HOUSE She is a former board member of KiDS, chaired the swimming committee, participated in the membership committee and was a board member of the Bradford Bath & Tennis Club.
She has also been responsible for building alliances with numerous volunteers in the Montclair Public School District for over 15 years, from team members of parents, teachers and managers to chairs of the school’s action team. She was passionate about launching initiatives to meet the educational needs of all students, including free tutoring during the day at school.
In her image, Mrs. Krieser helps raise three happy and healthy children who are confident in pursuing their unique passion, defending themselves and expressing their love for each other. I did.
She has survived by her husband Tom. Her three children, James, Caroline and Diana. Father, Patrick. Her sister Alison and her three nieces and nephews Irene, Anna and Miles.
