An Australian mother has been accused of making a ‘healthy’ version of fairy bread on TikTok.
Sydney native Fatima attended a weekend party and didn’t feed her daughter any of the traditional Australian snacks.
After devising a “healthier” alternative, she shared the recipe and was savagely roasted by thousands of people.
She shocked the internet by switching out shredded cabbage, carrots, and coconut sprinkles.

Within 48 hours, the video had over 4.4 million views and over 16,000 comments.
Thousands of people were outraged and uneasy about the “disgusting” recipe.
“Give that kid some fairy bread,” wrote one, while another wrote, “That’s not disappointing fairy bread with confetti butter on toast.”
The third said, “Fairy bread is like a staple food for children’s parties in Australia.
“Just in case, Fatima, please give her some fairy bread,” wrote another.
One young woman said she would “run away from home” when her mother put it out, and another joked that she would “call 000.”
“It’s a party!!! Let them have fun, it’s not everyday food – very sad,” someone else added.
