Lt. Alna Miller, Democrat, who heads the transition team for Governor Wes Moore, Democrat, announced Thursday that transition efforts are expanding.
The transition team added two new steering committee members and also identified people to lead the transition policy committee. The co-chair heads her nine policy committees with a total of 208 members.
“This team has deep expertise, an incredibly diverse range of professional and hands-on experience, and a strong commitment to serving all Marylanders,” Miller said in a statement. “Their work will deliver a powerful policy agenda that will ensure that all Marylanders have the opportunity to thrive.”
Miller said Montgomery County Assemblyman Will Jawando (D) and Joe Gaskins, co-chair of the Maryland Business Clergy Partnership, will join the transition team’s steering committee, making them “significant additions.” said it was called.
