As India Inc continues to work from home, Microsoft plans to make its video conferencing platform team more sensitive to workplace burnout. Users can manage their daily health and practice breathing exercises to increase stress.
It is offered in collaboration with Joye, a well-being technology company based in Singapore. Microsoft Teams admins can easily turn on Joye for their organization with a single click from the Teams app store.
Joye analyzes Microsoft Teams work patterns and submits suggestions. This empowers all employees in a hybrid workplace. Especially when you’re lonely, overworked, and stressed, Joye founder and CEO Sanjeev Magotra said.
For example, Joye’s Daily Brew allows users to measure and manage their daily health. Users can speak, write, and follow guided reflections in a secure, anonymized space. Joye’s AI is trained to recognize a user’s unique situation and assist the user with joy-level mood analysis, behavioral analytics, and short podcasts.
Joy’s Stress Buster is a two-minute breathing exercise to streamline the mind at key times when Joy feels that stress is likely to affect a user’s mental health and decision making.

Joye claims it doesn’t share personal data with employers or anyone else. To help businesses develop data-driven welfare programs, Joye can integrate anonymized data into an organization’s daily emotional health management dashboard. Organizations can subscribe to Joye’s enterprise subscription license.
