Patients with Ramsey Hunt develop when the virus spreads to the nerves and ears of the face and often causes symptoms such as facial nerve paralysis, dizziness, ear pain, hearing loss, and rashes on the face and scalp. Some patients may also experience loss of taste, as well as dry mouth and dry eyes.
