warm up:

I tried Chris Hemsworth’s Tall Resistance Band Workout — What Happened
To test my workout, I grabbed a long resistance band and a small loop band and tried it. A resistance band is an elastic strip of rubber used to provide resistance to the body during exercise. The exact resistance they provide increases with stretching, so individual bands have different resistance levels. I grabbed a heavier band and a lighter band and started warming up.
The resistance band moved my muscles from the first person to use a set of dumbbells. In the case of Bent-over-rowing, we found it easier to increase resistance by shortening the length of the band, making it a teacher and making rowing more difficult. For squats and reverse lunges, the gluteal muscles really worked with a mini band that looped over the knees.
The overall workout was quick but effective — I managed to get through all three sets in about 20 minutes and felt like I had a good full body workout in a short amount of time. Part of the beauty of a resistance band workout is that you can instantly harden or make it easier by increasing or decreasing the strength of the resistance band. I’m sure Hemsworth had a heavier band than I did, but not all of us can be as strong as Thor.
