The venture offers chemical-free snacks that are free of refined sugars, preservatives, sulfites, colors and artificial flavors. “We use only high quality, pesticide-free fruits, jaggery and spices in our products. We use lemon juice as a preservative in our roll-up candy and offer a shelf life of up to 7 months.” said Shrey, an MBA graduate and CEO of the Ghaziabad-based venture company. better india.

Incorporated in February 2022, the venture was launched in hopes of maintaining the Urvashi family’s traditional recipes.

With the help of a food consultant, we modified the recipe without changing it,” says her Urvashi, an engineering graduate who is in charge of the company’s design department.
The fruit used in manufacturing is sourced directly from farmers in South India, according to the co-founder. “Only export-quality fruits are selected to ensure quality and consistency.” The preserved frozen pulp of these fruits is used to make candy.
The company has nearly 16 full-time employees engaged in lab activities, product processing and shipping.
Products can be purchased from the company’s website, social media pages, Amazon or Indiamart. It is also sold at select retail outlets around the big cities of Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi.
The protein bar has become a bestseller, but the mango and strawberry flavors are buyer favorites.
The venture has recently included six new products: Fruit and Nut Coco Bars, Coconut Crushed Coco Bars, Chocolate Chip Brownie Coco Bars, Honey Trail Mix Coco Bars, Coffee Tiramisu Coco Bars, and Crunchy Peanut Chocolate Bars.
