Soybean Kichidi Recipe: How to Make Soybean Kichidi
First, bring water to a boil in a large bottomed pot and add soybeans, rice, tomatoes, and green chillies. Cook until rice and beans are soft and mushy.
Heat oil/ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds and pop. Then add the chopped onion and ginger-garlic paste and fry for 1-2 minutes.
Add turmeric, yogurt, and salt to taste, then add the peas, followed by the rice and beans. Stir constantly for at least 10 minutes, adding water if needed, and chopped coriander leaves.
