Australian fitness coach Bec Hardgrave (pictured) from Brisbane reveals how to make healthy fruit roll-ups at home.
This recipe calls for only three ingredients—mixed berries, lemon juice, and unsweetened maple syrup—but requires an oven bake for a whopping four hours.
In the video, Bec says he stumbled across the recipe on TikTok and thought, “I need to try it.”
She started by placing the mixed frozen berries in a pan, then added lemon juice and maple syrup and blended into the Nutribullet until smooth.
She then poured the mixture onto a lined baking tray and placed it in the preheated oven.
“The recipe said to bake this for four hours, which shocked me a bit, but I did it anyway,” Beck said.
She then poured the mixture onto a lined baking tray and placed it in a preheated oven. “It was kind of crispy, honestly. I’d probably buy a rollup,” Beck said.
When the mixture dried, she ripped off a piece, rolled it up and ate it.
Despite the recipe’s simplicity, Bec will never make homemade rollups again.
“Honestly, it was kind of crispy. I’d probably buy a rollup,” Beck said.
In the comments on the TikTok video, some people hated the idea of spending hours in the oven just to cook snack foods, but others wanted to try the recipe at least once.
