“Sleeping for soldiers is very important … even on the battlefield, when the environment is very uncomfortable and there is a lot of noise,” he said.
“Currently, according to my research, this was developed primarily for fighter pilots who need 100% of their reflexes and concentration, but everyone knows that sleep deprivation reduces it. increase.”
He said the technique used by soldiers to nod was “very simple.” Start by relaxing every part of your body, from head to toes.
“First, you need to calm down and systematically relax and shut down each part of your body, from head to toe,” Justin said.
“Start by relaxing the muscles of your forehead. Relax your eyes, cheeks, and chin and focus on your breathing.
“Now, get down on your neck and shoulders. Make sure your shoulders are not tense. Drop them as low as possible and loosen your arms to the side, including your hands and fingers.”
In a relaxed position, Justin suggested imagining a “warm sensation” from head to fingertips.
“This time, take a deep breath and exhale slowly, relaxing your chest and abdomen to your thighs, knees, legs and feet,” he said.
“Imagine once again this warm sensation going down from your heart to your toes.”
Justin said it was important to get rid of stress.
“To do this, consider two scenarios. One is lying on a calm lake canoe and the sky is only a clear blue sky. The second is the black of a pitch-black room. It’s lying in a velvet hammock, “he explained.
He said that whenever he thinks of something else or is distracted, he needs to repeat the word “don’t think” for 10 seconds.
Justin concludes: “That’s the technique. You’re supposed to practice every night for six weeks.”
Since then, his video has been watched more than 4.5 million times, and many claim that this technique “definitely works.”
“During insomnia due to PTSD, my doctor taught me a slight change in this technique. Believe that once you take it down, it works 100%,” wrote one woman.
And another added: “I didn’t know this was military. A professor at the university told me about it. I fall asleep before I get to my feet.”
Many people said they would try sleeping methods.
“I have really bad insomnia and nothing works. I sleep a little with lots of medicine, but I never wake up at rest. I’m trying this,” wrote one woman. increase.
