1 cup of low-fat milk (or juice)
Strawberry Greek yogurt 1/2 cup
Cut one frozen banana into chunks
1 1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
Place the ingredients in the blender in the order written. Puree until smooth. If the smoothie is too thick to blend, add a little milk or water. Taste, add a little honey as needed to sweeten. You can easily make this strawberry smoothie dairy free by substituting almond or coconut milk and dairy-free yogurt or another frozen banana. Add raspberries, pineapples and mangoes to make it even more interesting! Grinded flax or wheat bran gives the smoothie a boost in fiber and more sustainability.
