In an ideal world, pancakes are an everyday food, but in reality they may not be accessible when you need a nutritious breakfast. With this kombucha recipe, they can. Pancake recipes packed with fruits, vegetables and fermented deliciousness are as decadent as energizing.
Batter is made from your classic flour (unreasonably-often getting bad wraps) and is fortified with B vitamins and iron. material:
For basic pancake dough
Private flour 500g
2 whipped eggs
190ml milk of your choice
190ml kombucha
1 teaspoon vanilla essence or 1 vanilla pod
1-2 tablespoons of coconut oil or butter, cook
For delicious matcha pancakes
Spinach leaves 60g
60ml lime juice
1-2 teaspoons of matcha
For turmeric orange pancakes
Freshly squeezed orange juice 60ml
1 teaspoon turmeric
For super blue pancakes
60ml lemon juice
2 tsp blue spirulina
For chocolate tahini sauce
3 tbsp raw cocoa powder
1 1/2 tbsp peeled tahini
Freshly squeezed orange juice 60ml
1-2 teaspoons of rice malt syrup (optional-if you want more sweetness!)
Method:
1.1. Make a basic pancake mix Place the flour in a large mixing bowl. Make a well in the center and add the whipped eggs. Gently mix. Add milk, kombucha and vanilla extract. Mix well. Divide the batter into three mixing bowls.
2.2. Make delicious matcha Pancakes by Combine spinach leaves and lime juice With a high power blender. Blend until the spinach leaves are puree and there are no lumps. Add the spinach blend to one of the pancake bowls. Mix well and stir the matcha.
3.3. Make turmeric orange pancakes Along Add orange juice and turmeric powder In the second batter bowl. Mix well.
4.4. Make super blue pancakes Along Add lemon juice and blue spirulina In the third pancake batter bowl. Mix well. If you want more vibrant colors, add spirulina.
5.5. Prepare chocolate tahini sauce By combining all the sauce ingredients in a small mixing bowl. Mix well. Add boiling water until the desired consistency is reached. Save it.
6.6. To cook, add coconut oil or butter to a non-stick pan Melt on medium heat.
7. Spoon about 160 ml of pancake mix Place on a pan and cook for 1-2 minutes or until it begins to foam. Turn it over and cook the other side for another minute.
