Peroshi test is positive
The outbreak of COVID-19 struck official Washington and reached Chairman Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).
Drew Hanmil, Deputy Chief of Staff of Pelosi, announced the diagnosis of Pelosi in a statement, stating that the speaker did not show any virus-related symptoms.
“After doing a negative test this week, Pelosi Speaker received a positive test result for COVID-19 and is now asymptomatic. The speaker is fully vaccinated, boost-immunized, and the powerful vaccine provides. Thank you for your protection. “Hammill also I wrote in a tweet..
“Speakers quarantine in line with the CDC guidance and encourage everyone to be vaccinated, boosted and tested on a regular basis,” he said.
Pelosi was at the White House on Wednesday to sign a post office reform bill with President Biden.
Diagnosis also arrives when the house is preparing to leave Washington for an 18-day break before and after Easter vacation. Many lawmakers, including Pelosi, who reportedly planned to visit Taiwan on Sunday, planned a trip abroad during the break — a trip that threatened retaliation from Beijing.
Pelosi’s positive tests have shifted from these measures as Democrats have promoted rigorous COVID-19 public health precautions for over two years, as cases of Omicron variants have receded nationwide. It comes from being. From the White House, Biden plans to remove the controversial emergency restrictions on immigration enforced by his predecessor, while Pelosi recently relaxed the obligations of masks around the Capitol.

White House rejects Biden’s COVID-19 risk
The White House on Thursday dismissed concerns that President Biden was at risk of becoming infected with COVID-19 after spending time the day before with Chairman Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Who tested positive at the beginning of Thursday. ..
Biden and Pelosi were together at the White House on Wednesday, sometimes in very close contact, scoring the Affordable Care Act, which was attended by former President Obama.
However, White House spokesman Jen Psaki told reporters Thursday that the president was not considered a close contact with Pelosi as defined by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
“The way we define close relationships is not arbitrary. It is not composed of the White House, its CDC guidelines, and the way they define it to be within 6 feet for a total of 15 minutes in 24 hours. Wasn’t. All their interactions were publicly available, I think you saw them, and that’s the way that evaluation is made, “Pusaki said.
Biden was last tested Wednesday night-where he was negatively tested-as part of his normal rhythm.
Mr. Pusaki said Biden would be tested normally unless doctors instructed him to do so, and the White House was “strict”, including testing people on the road or in the Oval Office with Biden. He added that the “Protocol” will continue to be implemented.

Life expectancy declines in 2021
According to a new analysis, life expectancy in the United States continued to decline in 2021, but not as much as in 2020.
Posted online on Tuesday, but not yet peer-reviewed, the study predicts that life expectancy dropped from 76.99 in 2020 to 76.60 in 2021.
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, a 2019 study found that life expectancy fell sharply for the second consecutive year, with life expectancy in the United States at 78.86 years.
The significant decline in the coronavirus pandemic is due to the virus killing more than 900,000 Americans in the last two years.
However, the decline in life expectancy that occurred in 2020 and 2021 depends on race and ethnicity.
Studies have shown that the decline in life expectancy in 2021 was caused by white Americans, a change from 2020 when the average life expectancy of Hispanics and blacks was the lowest.
Last year, the life expectancy of white Americans fell by 0.34 years. This is a reduction that has affected men disproportionately. Hispanic populations saw a statistically insignificant increase, while black individuals had an increase of 0.42 years.

Whitmer asks state Supreme Court to rule abortion
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D) announced on Thursday that the state’s Supreme Court is demanding a decision on the constitutionality of the abortion.
According to Whitmer’s office, she used her power as governor, known as the “administrative message,” to address the question of whether the procedure was constitutional from the state court to the Supreme Court of Michigan. We are requesting you to make your own decision.
“If Roe overthrows, abortion can be illegal in Michigan in almost every situation, including rape and incest, giving Michigan women the ability to make important medical decisions on their own. It could rob you, “said Thursday in a statement to reporters.
“This is no longer theoretical. It’s a reality. So I’m going to file a proceeding and use the administrative authorities to immediately resolve whether the Michigan State Constitution protects the right to abortion. I am requesting the Supreme Court. ”
As the Republicans are trying to overturn the Roe v. Wade case, democracy-led state governments have moved to secure access to abortion in their own countries.
Earlier this week, Colorado Governor Jared Polis (D) signed a law guaranteeing access to abortion in his state.
