Life expectancy declines in 2021
According to a new analysis, life expectancy in the United States continued to decline in 2021, but not as much as in 2020.

Studies have shown that the decline in life expectancy in 2021 was caused by white Americans, a change from 2020 when the average life expectancy of Hispanics and blacks was the lowest.
Last year, the life expectancy of white Americans fell by 0.34 years. This is a reduction that has affected men disproportionately. Hispanic populations saw a statistically insignificant increase, while black individuals had an increase of 0.42 years.

Whitmer asks state Supreme Court to rule abortion
