This classic salad dressing was first created in the 1920s by a chef at San Francisco’s Palace Hotel. At that time, the play was popular in the city, and the dressing was named after the star of the play, the “Green Goddess”. The chef created a dressing to add to his salad starter at the hotel. The rest is history. Today, 100 years later, we are enjoying his delicious creations!

- Greek yogurt: Use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise or sour cream. It’s just creamy! Because it’s also a healthier option.
- Cilantro, basil, parsley, chives: Fresh herbs are the star of this recipe! Feel free to combine herbs. Mint, dill, and tarragon are also recommended.
- Green onions: Leeks add a mild onion flavor.
