Jackie continued to suffer from shortness of breath, chest bruising, and swelling of the eyes, but she continued to be treated for allergies.
Gary eventually made an appointment with his partner at a private hospital after Jackie began to suffer from dyspnea.

It was after their appointment that they discovered that their two mothers had stage 4 lung cancer and needed urgent treatment.
Gary claims that Jackie had all the main signs of stage 4 lung cancer, but these were not identified by her GP.
He said there was a three-and-a-half-month period between her first surgery and the discovery of her illness in a private hospital.
The Crossfell Health Center, which has been rated “good” overall by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) since 2015, expressed condolences to Jackie’s family but said he could not comment on the issue. rice field.

Gary, who works as a construction manager, said:
“She had no choice. No one gave her proper advice.
“They were treating her for allergies, and it was getting worse, it didn’t get better.
“It’s a hypothesis, and it’s completely wrong in my eyes. Doctors should never have a single idea.
“I’m running out of time, so he should be considering all the options.
“She started experiencing dyspnea, so I went private and scanned her.
“She was walking miles and miles, but suddenly she couldn’t walk to the front door.
“She would have died and fallen if we hadn’t been private. We had to find it ourselves.”

He states: “Jackie could tell from the face of the man who did the scan that he had something there, but he wasn’t allowed to talk to her.
“The GP didn’t call me right away. It took another week for them to come back to us.”

Alisha added, “They didn’t ring us. We had to ring them into a hound.”
Jackie received targeted therapy and the tumor shrank, but began to grow again nine months later.
She received radiation therapy, but after seeing how poor it made her late sister Carroll, she decided not to receive chemotherapy.
Sadly, cancer spread to Jackie’s brain and she died on February 28 at home surrounded by her beloved family.
Gary, Hannah, and Alisha praised the district nurses, McMillan nurses, and staff at James Cook University Hospital for their care before Jackie died.
Gary said: “The nurse still calls me every week and asks if I’m okay.
“The nurse came to the funeral, I didn’t see a general practitioner there.
“GPs are no longer related to patients. You are now just the number of GPs.”

“The clinic wants to condolence, but I can’t comment on this issue,” said a spokesman for the Medical Defense Union (MDU) on behalf of the Crosfell Health Center.
A full test was conducted by CQC in 2017 and the practice was rated “good” overall.
