According to FENZ, half of all fatal home fires are alcohol or drug related and a quarter occur in kitchens.
This is no joke, FENZ takes it very seriously.
“It was really important to us to create a cookbook that would give them the opportunity to create delicious, nutritious and simple recipes without putting themselves at risk after a big night out,” says FENZ. said Steve Turek, National Manager of Community Preparedness and Recovery.
“All the recipes in the cookbook can be made in a kettle, microwave, air fryer and toaster.”
Turek said in a statement that using a stove under the influence of drugs or alcohol is particularly dangerous and prone to distraction.
“We want to provide a practical and safe option that helps satisfy cravings and helps keep cooks under the influence of drugs and alcohol off the stove,” Turek said.
Affected chefs can find cookbooks online, and here’s a message from someone who tested the recipe:
Stay away from the stove so you can have a good night.
