Bec Hardgrave from Brisbane, Australia, shared a video online claiming that her “fake” Nando’s recipe contains only 480 calories per serving, but the actual deal has more than 1030 calories. ..
In the clip, she recreated the takeaway orders for peri-peri chips, chicken tenders, corn on the cob, and Nando’s perinese peri-peri mayonnaise.

Purchasing all the ingredients from Coles, Beck used straight cut chips, peri peri salt, chicken breast, mild nando speri marinade, corn cobs, the lightest LURPAK butter for corn, and perinese dip sauce.
Each serving contained 38g of protein, 50g of carbohydrates and only 13g of fat.
In the video, Beck first cooked chips in an air fryer with peri-peri salt and then marinated chicken in Nando’s peri-peri mild sauce.
Purchasing all the ingredients from Coles, Beck used straight cut chips, peri peri salt, chicken breast, mild nando speri marinade, corn cobs, the lightest LURPAK butter for cones, and perinese dip sauce.
Next, she cooked the chicken in the oven over high heat and boiled the corn cobs in the stove.
“Did you know that Nando’s alone has the majority of corn with 642 calories !!” she wrote.
The end result looked delicious and faithfully reproduced the original takeaway meal.
