Keiko told EastIdahoNews.com that one of the best-selling bowls is called PB&C, which stands for peanut butter and chocolate. Smoothie base contains acai, blueberry, strawberry, banana, chocolate, almond milk and natural peanut butter. Topped with granola, bananas, strawberries, cacao nibs and wildflower honey.
“What makes this magic is the crushed cocoa pieces that are the cocoa beans on top. It’s a rich, unsweetened dark chocolate with a creamy, delicious crunch and a pop of chocolate in the middle. The bowl is beautiful.” But it’s really a party,” she said.
Dye explained that they have vegan options. Anyone can add to the bowl and make it their own.
Another popular bowl is called Flower Power and features a bright blue base.
The smoothie base is blue spirulina, pineapple, banana and almond milk. Topped with granola, kiwi, blueberries, strawberries, bee pollen, and wild grass honey.
“These are my own recipes and blends,” Dai explained. For Christmas we have cran raspberries with pomegranate and crushed pistachios. It’s beautiful and delicious. We have something new every month and every season.”
If you’re unsure about these bowls, Dye says a good starter is The Brio Bowl. The smoothie base is acai, blueberry, strawberry, banana, and almond milk.
“It comes with banana and coconut. I love coconut chips. They’re big, chunky pieces. They’re sugar-free,” she said.
Brio Bowls is located at 2087 East 17th Street in Idaho Falls. Open Monday through Saturday from 9am to 7pm. The Pocatello location is at 1219 Yellowstone Avenue.
“We’re inside Cookie Place. We’re two separate businesses that share a space, which is amazing. We really enjoy that partnership,” said Dye. I’m here.
