The secret to super toned abs, the fitness icon is always sharing her secrets to share how she looks and feels her best. Demonstrates the importance of doing a proper squat workout. In the fitness star’s latest Instagram video, she explains she appears on a yoga mat and demonstrates how to “lift and tone your butt” with three variations of the classic squat. and it is clear that everything she is doing is working. Squat + leg lift
Austin says this squat variation is “a great way to reshape your lower half.” She begins the movement by extending her arms forward while performing a classic squat with her knees bent. Kick back and gently swing your arms back. “You look cool even from behind!”
side squat
For side squats, Austin explains, you want to “move them laterally and outward” to “work your legs” and “tone your buttocks.” She starts moving with her hands on her hips and brings her left foot out to the left side of the mat. She then aligns her right leg with her left leg and repeats her left-to-right movement.

The third movement “works the inner and outer thighs,” explains Austin. It looks similar to a standard squat, but has some key differences. She starts in a wider-legged stance with her toes pointing out and her hands on her hips, then lowers into a squat: “If you’re over 50 and have knee problems, stop halfway through.” explains Austin. “It works, too.” As she continues her move, Austin recalls pointing to the camera and saying, “Squeeze that ass.
