David Harbor used Instagram to let fans know how much they lost in “Stranger Things” Season 4.
In Season 4 of the show, Harbor character Jim Hopper has been diligently living in a Russian prison for eight months. The character’s situation demanded that Harbor lose a fair amount of weight to make his scene believable, and it worked because the fans were shocked when they saw him on the screen. ..
Harbor started the post saying he decided to work on his weight loss regimen because of the number of fans he had contacted and asked how he got so slim. He trusted his trainer David Higgins and a strict diet as the reason he was able to do it.
“My trainer @davidhigginslondon worked with me for eight months to transform and for another year to survive the pandemic,” said Harbor. “It was a difficult and exciting vehicle and was said to change (or lack) diet and exercise plans.”
David Harbor shares first Instagram photo with Lily Allen: “Prince, Princess, Parking”
The post contained a series of photos recording his weight loss journey. The first photo was an image of “Stranger Things” before and after his split in Season 3 and Season 4.
“It is said that we lost more than £ 75-265-270 in Season 3 and dropped to £ 190 when we shot,” Harbor explained.
After all his efforts to lose weight, Harbor played the role of Santa Claus for a new movie to be released this holiday season. In his post, he admitted that losing weight in Season 5 wasn’t that easy, and that constant weight fluctuations weren’t good for him.
“Everywhere the hopper ends in Season 5, I’m having a hard time fighting back for a good weight,” he said. “Everything above and below is not good for you, and I have to give it up right away, but living in a different version of your skin for a while is a very fun part of the job.”
The comments section below this post was a very complementary place for Harbor, as celebrities and fans praised his diligence. Some commentators pointed out that the actor appears to be sporting both shapes and needs to strive to be his healthiest self.

Many fans also said that what they most wanted to see was him with his “Stranger Things” co-star Winona Ryder, giving them the couple’s name “Danona”.
These fans will be disappointed to find out that Harbor is actually married … and not a rider, but a British singer Lily Allen. The two began dating in 2019 and married an Elvis impersonator in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2020.
