A few years ago, my friend Maggie Savage, who fed her cake, shared this nutritious recipe for dairy-free chocolate frosty. Unlike Wendy’s popular shakes, these blends do not contain dairy products and are made exclusively from all plant-based food ingredients. They are even sweetened on dates!
Purely plant-based, dairy-free chocolate frosty
They may sound healthy, but Maggie guarantees that this recipe is also approved by the child.
On Mother’s Day, making desserts with my daughter Liveby is always fun, but knowing that you’re making nutritious foods makes it even more rewarding. This recipe fits the bill and is a gorgeous “milkshake and ice cream encounter” treat. Livvie and I also created a fudge sicle using this “fRAWsties” recipe. The goodness of my life was like a fudge sicle. Except that it does not contain milk and sugar.
And don’t let the photos give you the wrong impression. Maggie usually makes dairy-free chocolate frosty without coconut. The recipe includes light coconut and coconut-free options.
Special Food Note: Chocolate Frosty without Dairy Products
