It’s hard to imagine BLT getting any better, but then I went ahead and threw a classic fixture on the pizza dough. Each bite of tomato is baked into a crust for a juicy sweet burst. Then top with “B” and “L” (crispy turkey bacon and finely chopped romaine lettuce) to make it even more delicious. And to put it completely on top, add a spoonful of ranch dressing and a light rain with plenty of balsamic vinegar. My Prediction: This may be your new attachment. (It’s definitely mine)
- Some notes about the fabric:
- •• You can buy ready-made pizza dough that is “frozen or stable”. Usually add toppings and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes. Check the packaging and follow the instructions for your particular brand. There are all kinds. White flour, whole wheat, gluten-free, cauliflower, etc.
- ..
•• You can buy frozen or refrigerated pizza dough balls. After freezing, thaw and roll into the shape of pizza dough. Follow the instructions for adding toppings and oven time / temperature.
•• You can buy a boxed powder mix, just like a muffin and cake mix.
•• You can make your own crust! The recipe is very simple (and fun!) And tends to consist of flour (a bonus point for whole grains), a small amount of sugar, dry yeast, salt, olive oil and water. Check out my simple recipe here.
