How to make vegan cinnamon rolls
So how do you make vegan cinnamon rolls? It’s really fun and anyone can do it!
1. First, put milk and vegan butter in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until melted (similar to bath water). Pour into a large mixing bowl and add sugar and yeast. Mix with a whisk, cover, and wait until foamy (about 10 minutes). Next, liquefy the cake flour and mix well with a spatula. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until nearly doubled in size. Add another 1/2 cup of flour and knead into a fancy ball.
2. Next, dust a work surface with flour and roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick (mine is 18 x 11 inches).
3. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Brush the dough with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar. Roll the dough into a log on the long side and cut it into 11 even pieces (about 4.5 cm wide). Brush a 9-inch cake tin with melted vegan butter and transfer the roll into the mold. Brush the top with melted butter. Cover and ferment for 15 minutes.
4. Bake at 350°C/180°F for 25-30 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar to finish.
How to make cinnamon roll vegan icing
Simply mix 1 cup of powdered sugar with 2-3 tablespoons of almond milk. The texture should be thin enough to drizzle over the rolls.
Tip: If you can’t find certified vegan powdered sugar, you can make it at home! In a blender or food processor, pulse organic cane sugar several times until powdered.

How long do vegan cinnamon rolls last?
The cinnamon rolls are freshly baked and eaten the same day they are so fresh and fluffy!
But it’s still delicious the next day. If you have leftovers and want to eat them the next day, we recommend wrapping them individually in plastic wrap and eating them the next day. When eating, remove the plastic wrap and heat in the microwave for 10-20 seconds to soften.
