FishHawk Youth Baseball Congratulations
Congratulations to the 12U FishHawk Cooperstown 2022 and 10U Navy teams for winning the West Florida Advanced Baseball League. The Championship Weekend was held at the Fishhawk Sports Complex in early December. The advanced baseball program is a coalition of Babe Ruth and the Cal Ripken League in the county, providing additional opportunities for players to demonstrate a high level of talent during the recreational season.
Art program for children with Down Syndrome and teenage families
Tampa Bay’s Down Syndrome Society (DSATB), a community partner at Center Place, offers a free 3-2-1 art program for families with Down Syndrome children and teenagers. The program is held twice a month at Center Place, from 6 pm to 7 pm on the first Monday of each month and from 3 pm to 4 pm on the third Sunday of each month.
Students use art as a means of expression and communication. This class also helps students develop social skills and learn how to interact with other students and teachers in the classroom.
If you would like to pre-register your child for this program, please contact Center Place (685-8888). Children and families must be pre-screened for this program before enrolling.
Nashville duo playing at the Sun City Center
The United Methodist Church (SCCUMC) at Sun City Center will welcome Dave & Daphne, a Nashville duo, to campus at 7:00 pm on Friday, January 7, 2022. Dave & Daphne’s concerts have all the energy of a Las Vegas-style show with solid country music Roots; they have appeared at major venues such as Nashville Now, the CMA Awards, and the Grand Ole Opry.

Veterans Art Program
The Veterans Art Program is open to foreign war veterans. No fees or artistic skills required. There is no reason not to participate in the survey or record management. The winner of the weight loss challenge will donate the prize to the desired seed
Congratulations to Jacky Costello, one of the winners of the Inspired Mobile Fitness weight loss challenge. Fish Hawk resident, local writer, and Custom Cleanups owner Costello, in collaboration with Inspired Mobile Fitness owner Rashah Davis, presented a $ 375 prize to support the Seeds of Hope. .. Costello has added another $ 125 to allow $ 500 to be donated to support a hungry family in the community this holiday season.

Plant City Community Chorus Rehearsal Started
Plant City Community Chorale is on Monday, January 10th, from 7pm to 9:30 pm, at 303N in Plant City. Evers St. Start rehearsing your spring session at the First United Methodist Church in. Corral rehearses every Monday night and is always looking for new singers to join the fun.

David Weekly collects thousands of meals during the annual food drive
Thanks to the partnership between David Weekly Homes and 17 charities across the United States, approximately 311,000 people across the country received heartfelt Thanksgiving meals. A national organization with the help of homeowners, realtors, vendors, trading partners and team members.
The Tampa team has partnered with Feeding Tampa Bay to donate more than 90,000 meals to people in need, including £ 5,100 of frozen turkey and ham.
January Meeting of East Hills Borrow Democratic Club
The East Hillsborough Democratic Club will hold a monthly meeting on Tuesday, January 11th at 6:30 pm. To participate, join the Brandon Crossroads Bowl at 609 Crater Ln. With Tampa. Alaffia Republican Club Meeting
The Alaffia Republican Club meets on the third Monday of every month at the O’Brien’s Irish Pub at 701 W. Lumsden Rd. At Brandon. The speaker at the January meeting was Robert Pisano, a political prisoner in Cuba before being released in 1979 and moving to Tampa. Since then, he has worked to help Cubans who oppose the socialist government.
Joining Social Hour from 6pm, Pisano will start the story at 7pm
