Following the success of last year’s viral Crinkle Fry and Curly Fry Vodkas (both of which sold out within two minutes), Arby’s is back in the alcohol game.
“After last year’s successful vodka launch, we wanted to release another unexpected booze that fans of legal drinking age could responsibly pair with their menu items.” Jim Taylorsaid Arby’s president in a press release.
The fast-food chain has unveiled its next adult-only offering, inspired by the 13-Hour Smoked Brisket Sandwich and the limited-edition Real Country-Style Rib Sandwich, Arby’s Smoked Bourbon.
“Arby’s smoked meats are the cornerstone of our brand, so why not leverage our expertise to create a delicious smoked bourbon that complements the flavor and enhances the experience of enjoying a smokehouse sandwich.” ?” Taylor added.
The new liqueur is made in partnership with craft distillery Brainbrew. “We were thrilled to partner with Arby’s and have him create Arby’s Smoked Bourbon.” Doug Hall, CEO and co-founder, said: “We take pride in the hours of research, detail, and innovation that go into creating custom bottles of bourbon for our collaboration partners and consumers, and we pride ourselves on using them at Sadler’s Smokehouse. I enjoyed using the same smoked woods to recreate one of Arby’s signature flavor profiles.”
Its smoking process includes hickory, mesquite and pecans, which help bourbon achieve the same recognizable flavors.
