How would you describe your first experience with MIO and state winners?
It was a very good experience! The girls were very excited and very ambitious to reach their goals. I think that is the first key to high performers.
Being able to train these girls and build their mental health was the easiest and most seamless experience for me. It was an immediate connection to me as I was able to see the enthusiasm for doing better. They conducted many lessons and always came up with great questions for coaches! My first relationship with Miss India is great and I can’t wait to see the girl at the finale.
Miss India attracts pageant applicants from all over the country each year and offers the largest platform ever to represent themselves and their condition, but the experience of training these lovely women in different aspects of life. How was it?
These girls came from different backgrounds and upbringing, but they all had one thing in common. It’s a commitment and dedication to becoming a pageant winner. When they come to learn from each other, it actually helps to have a diverse background.
Diversity is always worth it. You learn faster when you see someone in front of you on the same learning curve. It brings more concentration, resilience, and discipline. The preparation time for Femina Miss India is a very competitive place, but through these mental workout sessions the girls were connected to each other.
Can you shed some light on the methodology used for this year’s batch training? How does this training overcome psychological stress and depression?
Performance anxiety can be paralyzed in such competitions. But any anxiety is a pattern. There is always a trigger-reaction loop. Femina Miss India’s Mental Workout Session was designed to train girls to calm down and compose under pressure.
During the offline session, I included the following:
a. ‘Calm sutra sssss strokes can calm down under stress and pressure. It is a technique that is driven by physical movements and allows the mind to control their reactions.

It’s only a few hours before the state winners do their best at the Grand Finale, but what’s one of the advices you want to give them?
They are very diligent, committed to their goals and have pushed themselves beyond their abilities. My advice to them is: Be as calm as possible, enjoy the process, stay at the moment and take over the magic of the event. Use breathing and calming techniques whenever they feel stressed or anxious.
