The Dole Food Company encourages people to adopt healthier and more environmentally friendly menus to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
As part of the company’s “Healthier by Dole” recipe series, Dole will literally and nutritionally “green” in March of this year to commemorate both St. Patrick’s Day and National Nutrition Month. Encourages to.
“Healthier by Dole” is a new series of nutritious, plant-friendly menus that replace iconic dishes that can be enjoyed on holidays and other dining occasions.
The program initiative, which began last month with a vegan tailgate recipe, is led by Melanie Marcus, RD, Massachusetts, Doll’s Nutrition and Health Communications Manager.
The latest “Healthier by Dole” menu includes 10 main dish, side dish, dessert and smoothie recipes that provide a healthier version of Ireland’s favorite.
