Walking is the most basic movement we can do. If you tend to sit down or aren’t used to aerobic exercise, start by walking at a vigorous pace.
You can also find a scenic route in your neighborhood or head to the park and start walking at a fast and sustainable pace. Aim for 20-30 minutes to get started.

Running is another fairly basic pattern of movement. If you want to improve your aerobic base and increase your endurance, include running in your routine.
If you are a beginner, you can jog, aim for 1/4 or 1/2 mile, walk, hold your breath, and repeat. However, if you’re a little more conditioned, start with a mile run and focus on improving your pace and distance each week.
If you don’t have the time, or if you can’t walk or run in the environment, you can do a weight circuit instead. (You don’t even have to leave home for this!) Below are some simple routines you can do. Set the timer to 10 minutes and perform each of the following actions for 30-45 seconds, with a pause of 15 seconds in between.
High knee
Keep your torso straight, tighten the core, and start moving your knees back and forth above your hips.
Bat kickers
With your hands sideways, kick your heels back toward your hips and bend the hamstrings with each person.
A-Skip
Take one hand and the other knee and throw them in a mini jump to perform the movement. Be sure to land softly and repeat on the other side.
