Earlier this week, my colleague put a thirst trap on Taron Egerton, and he wasn’t wrong. I’m still not sure if he’s ready to play Wolverine (everything you need to know about these casting rumors is here), but no doubt — Egerton is in great shape right now.But how exactly Have Did the Rocketman star build his impressive physique?
As a fitness editor, I spend my days researching the best running shoes for readers to buy, or the best ab workouts to get results, but featuring actors dancing on towels to the Bee Gees hits. Following Egerton’s recent Instagram story, “More Than a Woman,” as an urgent matter, I decided to stop doing what I was doing and study his training routine. It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it.
Egerton doesn’t talk much about his time at the gym, but he started training with trainer Dalton Wong about Kingsman 2’s role in the film, and the two continued training together. Egerton is still following Wong on Instagram, so Egerton has tagged trainer Russell Lee in some of his recent training videos, but you can jump to the assumption that the two are still in contact. ..In an interview with Men’s JournalWong revealed some of the moves he made to Egerton to help him get in shape.
How did Taron Egerton build his body?
Talking to the Men’s Journal, Wong explained that Egerton’s fitness routine is a daily combination of interdisciplinary strength, cardio, and flexibility training. “Flexibility is just as important as strength. In pre-production, lifting and strength training were everything. But in production, maintenance and recovery were everything. We have a structurally healthy body. I had to make sure it was there, “he said.
What is your favorite exercise in Wong training? Various chin-ups. “We focused on weight training and used different sizes of grips to do different types of chin-ups to define the back. People at home want to imitate fat grips. You can wrap a towel around the bar. For chin-ups, the limiting factor for most people is not the back, but the grip. “

Wong also revealed that Egerton’s diet focuses on balance rather than cut, “I believe I won’t omit anything,” Wong said. During training, Egerton ate carbohydrates, protein, and fat to get fit. When he was filming, Egerton’s carbohydrates and protein were reduced to reduce inflammation in his body.
What is one of the reasons why Egerton’s arms are so nicely shaped? He hates leg days and reveals Wong. “I had to add an arm on foot day. After all, everyone likes to use weapons,” he said.

How to raise your chin
Similar to pull-ups, chin-ups when gripping the bar with your palm facing your body are a little different. As a result, chin-ups target muscles along the front of the body, such as the biceps and chest.
To do a pull-up, grab the bar with both hands, point your palms toward your body, and spread your hands across your shoulders (if you can’t reach the bar from the ground, you’ll need to step up) instead of jumping to the bar first Box or block to go to). Then pull up until your chin is above the bar. Pause at the top for a few seconds with your elbows fully bent, then return to your original position with your arms extended. Be sure to control and descend, not fall.
