Muradabadi Dal recipe for weight loss
material
- 1 cup yellow moondal
- 1/2 cup orange massur dal
- salt (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon roasted cumin seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon roasted coriander seeds
- 2 dried red peppers
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 2 teaspoons minced ginger
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- a handful of coriander leaves
- 2 green chillies
- 2 tsp.
Method
- Soak both dals for 10-20 minutes
- Boil the dal with salt, turmeric powder and caraway seeds. Once the dal is cooked, mix them well.
- Roast cumin seeds, coriander seeds and dried red peppers.grind them into a coarse powder
- Heat the ghee in a pan and add the chopped ginger.
- Sprinkle green chillies and add ground masala
- Add coriander leaves and pour lemon juice
- Pour ghee all over the dal
- hot serve
