In my constant battle with high cholesterol, I’m on a quest to create the perfect bowl of oatmeal for breakfast. Oatmeal tops the Mayo Clinic’s list of cholesterol-lowering foods. (Nuts were also on the list, so many recipes use nuts.)
I often use raisins in my favorite oatmeal, but decided to try dates instead. Wow, I think I like dates in oatmeal more than raisins!
