Luna Khan opened up about her weight loss journey and how it changed her outlook on life.
The Bangladeshi actress gained weight after the birth of her daughter Rajeshwari.
Her weight became a major topic when she returned to work after maternity leave.
Revealing that she has gone from 105kg to 68kg, Luna said:
The journey has been very long and hectic, but the results are clear.
“After my daughter Rajeshwari was born, I gained a lot of weight and now weigh 105kg.
“When I returned to work after maternity leave, my weight became a major topic in my work environment.
“Honestly, this has depressed me.
“Truth be told, there are few things I haven’t tried to lose those extra kilos, except for surgery.
Luna admitted to being bullied because of her weight.
“When I realized someone close to me was bullying me, I immediately cut toxic people out of my life.
“At that moment, I knew I had regained the energy to begin my journey to lose that extra pounds.
“Throughout the trip, my husband, Esion Waheed, and my daughter made sure that I never felt alone.
“I am also grateful to my friends who have stood up to my difficulties.”
Giving advice to those struggling to live a healthy life, Luna said:
“It’s very important to stay mentally healthy. Listening to toxic people can distract you. Love yourself and the world will love you.”
Runa Khan’s latest project is a web series buddha.
Speaking about her experience, she said:
“buddha very special to me.
“It has been a long time since I worked with Amitabh Reza Chowdhury.
“Also, my co-artists on this project, such as Afzal Hossein, Saeed Babu, Ronak Hasan, Orchita Sporsia, and Khairul Bassar, are all great actors.
“Here I played the role of Dipti Rani, a schoolteacher. She is very sensitive and humane by nature.”

Regarding future roles, Luna added:
“I still dream of playing a role that will stay with me forever.
“Not all dreams come true, but at least there is hope!”
